Tuberkulosekontroll etter regelverk frå 2009. Dei mest aktuelle gruppene som skal testa seg for smitte, er asylsøkjarar/flyktningar, innvandrarar (også familieinnvandring) og arbeidssøkjarar frå land med høg risiko for tuberkulosesmitte.
Du som jobbar innanfor helse eller med barn og unge, og som har opphalde deg meir enn 3 mnd i land med høg forekomst av tuberkulose,skal gjennom screening.

Foreigner working in Norway?
According to Norwegian health legislation, persons working in Norway for more than 3 months, are obliged to undergo examination for tuberculosis if they come from the following countries: Tuberkulose: Land med høy og særlig høy forekomst av tuberkulose - Helsedirektoratet

· Standard procedure for people above 10 years of age is a chest X-ray and a blood sample.
· If you bring younger children with you (under the age of 10), they must take a blood sample if they have been exposed to persons with tuberculosis or you come from a country with very high risk.
